Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital, is a city where you can feel a sense of optimism everywhere. Skyscrapers grow at huge construction sites. The large parks, the banks of the Dnepr River and the spacious squares are a meeting place for the young people of Kyiv.

The atmosphere is cheerfully relaxed and, what is obvious, many of the young people brought their laptops and work outdoors – individually and in groups.

Young and motivated Audience

A happy and forward-looking lifestyle can also be found at IT conferences such as ThinkStage 2019. The young audience is interested, asks questions and is actively involved in workshops and round tables. “With a focus on business analysis, requirements engineering, product management and usability the conference is on the pulse of the time”, says organizer Victor Sokolovskiy of Code Space. It is an audience that is professionally oriented and is looking for ways to educate themselves.

A broad and varied program

The young IT-professionals are pushing into markets that are not only in Ukraine, but in the neighboring EU, but also more remote ones such as the Arab or Indian region. This is one reason why so many foreign IT and project management professionals see the potential of Ukraine. For two days, more than 30 speakers from all over the world provided a huge spectrum of topics, so that every participant could discover the most important topics for themselves.

iSQI was a platinum sponsor for ThinkStage’19 a conference.  We met speakers from – Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc), thredUP, Matic, Querix (UK) Ltd, DataArt, Intellias, YouScan. Also, participants attended speeches provided by International Software Product Management Association – Zornitsa Nicolova and  Hans-Bernd Kittlaus, IREB (International Requirement Engineering Board) – Hans van Loenhoud, UXQB (…) – Thomas Geis. It was really exciting for us as we met a lot of Ukrainians interested in certification. Thank you, Kyiv!

iSQI, as an international certification body deeply rooted in the educational sector, is happy to present the two winners of the voucher raffle and would like to congratulate them. Yulia and Valeria, the winners of two vouchers for the IREB certification. The International Requirements Engineering Board offers certificates for e.g. business analysts or software testers, which are often a prerequisite for hiring IT professionals at international companies. We hope that this support will help the two women with their careers.
