Every company looks for high-quality software that’s firm to work with and that won´t break the bank. Thus, it’s no surprise that the Armenian market with it’s low labor costs and experienced software houses expands the IT-sector. Good times for iSQI to intense the collaboration with the Armenian Software Testing Qualifications Board.
When people think of outsourcing software development, they usually think of India, China, and Europeans sometimes of Poland. But there are also other alternatives. Whether you are a small or a big player on the market, Eastern Europe and destinations like Armenia are a good choice. The tech industry of the former Soviet Union is growing at an annual rate of 20 percent and has an huge intellectual potential with a growing number of startups and tech firms. Moreover, Armenia’s government throws its weight behind the industry by making it a priority economic sector and gets even more government support on the way. Big fishes in the IT-industry found their place in the little Asian country. One of the most prominent examples is the giant Microsoft and it’s Innovation Center Armenia (https://mic.am/). In addition to Microsoft and Oracle have settled in the country, too.
Nevertheless, the iSQI GmbH as an international certification body is one of just a few small and medium-sized companies settled in Middle Europe, that cooperates locally with a community of interests like the Armenian Software Testing Qualifications Board (ArmSTQB).
“Therefore, we are very pleased to offer first iSQI certifications during public exam sessions from the ArmSTQB. And we are very excited about how the cooperation will be expanded even further”, says Erika Paasche, Key Account Manager at iSQI.
